We Stand With Standing Rock

Picture it – the air, which hovers around 26º, is frigidly cold. The sound of helicopters can be heard amidst the cries of peaceful, unarmed protestors, or water protectors, seeking to stop Energy Transfer Partners from building the Dakota Access Pipeline. Their goal: to stop the probable contamination of their water supply.

What is the response to this peaceful protest, you ask? Militarized riot police fire, indiscriminately, at the crowd using water cannons, tear gas, concussion grenades, rubber bullets, sandbags and more. More than 150 peaceful protestors have reportedly been injured, including one who is reported to have been essentially scalped by one of the sandbags fired by the police. Despite rumors from media outlets to the contrary, we have seen live footage from protestors on the front lines confirming this information.

We have seen enough and we cannot stand idly by while our brothers and sisters at Standing Rock Reservation are terrorized. We will be raising donations of items to send to the local water protectors in the area. Items include:
